Monterey

Thanks to the Bringhursts, Monterey is one of our favorite getaway spots now. We haven't been there in a while so we decided to take a day trip with the Fronks a few weeks ago.

We started the day by a late breakfast at Breakers Cafe,which was very yummy.

Brooke and Afton's breakfast of choice was the jam packets on the table...

Then we headed to the aquarium to use our season passes one last time...

As you can tell from the face, Afton Loved it!

It was a perfect day, not too hot or cold.

Our last stop was the beach for dinner and a fire.

It was Afton's first time in the sand.

And while she mostly stuck to the blanket or our laps, she did venture in the sand once...

We shared a yummy peach from Casa De Fruita (a must stop on the way there or back).

Relaxed and people watched...

And snuggled into our hoodies...

Eventually it got time to leave (Binkie in the mouth is a sure sign that Afton's ready to go...) and sadly we had to leave wonderful Monterey.
